“When I was approached for this tribute project, I knew right away that I wanted to cover a piece from Ogre Battle 64. It is such an underrated gem and Sakimoto’s music isn’t represented nearly enough in the video game music community. I wanted to stay as true to the original as possible and pay tribute to such a good score. To do that, I thought a straight up remaster would be the most appropriate. I hope the audience feels the same way!”
