about

“About 10 years ago I produced a piano rendition of Zero 2 which ended up being the most popular video on my YouTube channel. Despite being filmed on a terrible webcam with absolutely shocking audio quality, people seemed to really enjoy it. If you want to watch it, I’ll let you dig :)
Since then I’ve been meaning to tackle this song again, this time with decent audio quality. When hearing about this project, it was the first one I jumped onto.
The Kirby 64 Soundtrack, in my opinion, is one of the most original and interesting OSTs out there. It ranges from insanely enthusiastic to curiously menacing. I love the way it progresses so that as you got further into the game the music became darker and darker until, right at the end, it hits you with this amazing song.
I usually try to create interesting compositions using the base motifs from a track without sticking too closely to overall structure. I’m really happy with how this one turned out, even though I feel that many wouldn’t have expected it to sound the way it does. I hope you enjoy!”
